AI assistants (MCP)
Connect an external AI assistant (such as Claude or ChatGPT) to your workspace. Once connected, you can build new funnels, update headlines, tweak quiz questions, and adjust paywalls directly from a conversation.
You manage and authorize connections in Settings → AI connections. Your workspace connection URL is:

How to connect
Follow these steps to link your assistant:
- Open the integrations, connectors, or MCP settings in your AI assistant.
- Add a remote server with your connection URL and choose OAuth sign-in.
- When the browser window opens, sign in to web2app and pick your workspace.
- Review the requested permissions, then select Allow access.
- Return to your chat. Ask the assistant to list your existing funnels or create a new draft.
Where to find your URL
You can always view or copy your personal connection URL under Settings → AI connections in your dashboard.
What your assistant can do
Your assistant interacts with your funnels using the same rules and guardrails as the visual editor.

What stays private
AI assistants never have access to your payment processor keys, webhook secrets, customer cards, subscriber lists, or workspace billing. Those settings remain strictly inside your dashboard.
Draft and live safety
To keep your campaigns safe, the platform applies safety rules to AI edits:
- New funnels are always drafts. They never go live automatically. The assistant provides an editor link and a preview link so you can review the result.
- Publishing stays in your control. When you are satisfied with a draft, open the dashboard or editor and click Publish.
- Edits to published funnels apply immediately. If you ask the assistant to modify an already live funnel, changes take effect on the live URL. When planning large changes, ask the assistant to duplicate the funnel first.
- Protected A/B tests. If an active A/B test is running on a funnel, the assistant cannot change the funnel structure or tested steps until the test ends.
Safe collaborative editing
If you are working in the editor while an assistant (or another team member) edits the same funnel, web2app protects your changes:
- Every save checks for the latest version.
- If two people or tools edit the same screen at once, you will see a Version conflict notice with a Reload latest button.
- Your local typing is kept intact in your browser so you never lose work.
- Simply reload the latest version, verify your adjustments, and save again.
Example prompts to try
Try asking your assistant requests like these:
- “List all the funnels in my workspace and show their current status.”
- “Create a new draft funnel from the Sleep Improvement template and call it Night Calm.”
- “Open the paywall in Night Calm. Add a 7-day trial for $1 on the monthly subscription, followed by $19.99 per month.”
- “Add a new quiz question asking ‘What is your primary fitness goal?’ with three choices: Muscle gain, Weight loss, and Endurance.”
- “Give me a preview link to review the changes.”
Introductory prices require Stripe
When setting up paid trial periods (such as $1 for the first 7 days), your workspace must use Stripe.
Disconnect an assistant
You can remove access for any assistant at any time:
- In the sidebar, go to Settings.
- Scroll to the AI connections section.
- Find the assistant in the list of active connections.
- Click Revoke.
Access is terminated immediately. The assistant will no longer be able to read or modify your funnels.
