Publishing & URLs
Draft vs live
While a funnel is draft, visitors cannot use its public link (or they see an error / "not found," depending on configuration). Set it to published when you're ready for real traffic.
Publish a funnel
Open the ⋯ menu next to the funnel on the Funnels page and choose Publish. The status badge changes from Draft to Live.
Get the public link
Once published, open the ⋯ menu and choose Copy link. The link is copied to your clipboard and is ready to paste into ads, emails, or anywhere else.
The URL shape depends on your setup:
| Setup | Example link | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Default domain | Platform link with your slug | Includes workspace-safe details — copy the full link from Copy link |
| Custom domain — main funnel | https://go.yourbrand.com/ | The earliest published funnel on that domain that shares the hostname in settings |
| Custom domain — other funnels | https://go.yourbrand.com/your-slug | Same hostname in settings; slug appears in the path |
Copy link always uses your custom domain when one is set in that funnel's settings. On the default domain, copy the full link exactly as shown — do not remove the extra part at the end.
Slugs are workspace-safe
Two workspaces can use the same slug. The default link includes the workspace context, so visitors open the right funnel. A custom domain is tied to one workspace, so branded links stay short.
Several funnels on one domain
You can enter the same hostname (for example go.yourbrand.com) in Custom domain for more than one funnel in your workspace. Each funnel gets its own Copy link — one at the domain root, the rest under /{slug}. Only published funnels are reachable on the live domain.
Custom domains
Some plans let you point your own domain at your funnels so links match your brand.
- Open funnel Settings → Advanced and find Custom domain.
- Follow the on-screen instructions: we recommend managing DNS with Cloudflare so HTTPS is straightforward (including the orange-cloud proxy).
- If the domain is already in Cloudflare, create a subdomain for your funnels (for example
go.yourbrand.com). - Add a CNAME record for that subdomain pointing to the hostname shown in the instructions (your platform displays the exact value).
- Enter the same hostname in the Custom domain field (without
https://) and save funnel settings. - Repeat step 5 for any other funnels that should share that hostname — each keeps its own slug and Copy link.
After DNS updates, the funnel row shows the public path and Copy link uses the branded URL. Propagation can take up to 24–48 hours.
Which funnel opens at the domain root?
When several published funnels share the same custom hostname, the one published earliest (by creation date in your workspace) opens at https://your-domain.com/. All others use https://your-domain.com/{slug}.
If that main funnel is unpublished, the root address falls to the next earliest published funnel on the same hostname.
Reserved platform hostnames
You cannot use web2app.tools, web2web.tools, or their www subdomains as a custom domain — they belong to the product's own marketing and routing. Use a hostname you control (for example go.yourbrand.com).
Reserved slugs on a custom domain
Do not use privacy, terms, or moneyback as a funnel slug when you use a custom domain. Those paths are reserved for built-in legal pages.
One workspace per domain
A custom hostname belongs to one workspace. It only serves funnels from that workspace. If another team needs the same brand, use a different subdomain.
Need help with DNS?
If you are unsure how to add records at your registrar, ask whoever manages your domain or IT.
Legal pages on a custom domain
When built-in legal pages are enabled, visitors open them from the funnel footer:
| Funnel role on the domain | Privacy / Terms / Money-back |
|---|---|
Main funnel (opens at /) | /privacy, /terms, /moneyback |
| Other funnels (path includes slug) | /{slug}/privacy, /{slug}/terms, /{slug}/moneyback |
Fill in company name, support email, and related fields in funnel Settings before going live.
Unpublish
To take a funnel offline, open the ⋯ menu and choose Unpublish. The status goes back to Draft and the public link stops working.
If you unpublish the funnel that currently opens at your domain root, another published funnel on the same hostname may become the new root — use Copy link again after changes.
Testing
Before spending on ads, open the Copy link URL in a private/incognito window and walk the full path — including checkout — using test payment details if your workspace provides them.
For quick content checks, use Preview from the editor or the Funnels row. Preview is for testing and does not count as live traffic.
